So Pointing the Camera at the Ground is a Bad Thing?!?
So yesterday was the Video 101 class at
WKRN. I have to say I'm really impressed with how the station is really embracing the local blogging community. Anyway, basically it was video workshop where WKRN's Joe Gregory and Mitch Jordan taught us how to shoot broadcast worthy footage. Of course my favorite part was the hands on section where we went actually went outside (imagine that, web guys going outside, who would have thought) and shot some footage. There weren't enough cameras to go around so I teamed up with Mike from
Enclave, where we proceeded to make, quite possibly, the greatest video montage of a news van setting up its antenna.
When were done we went inside and had our footage critiqued by Joe and Mitch, which I really enjoyed. Finally, they stuck us in front of the camera to promote NashvilleisTalking. So for those of you in the Nashville area, you just might get to see Mr. Jonny Pantz on TV in the near future.
