Job Ideas and
PreviouslyRecorded 9
If I spend one more day doing nothing, I'm going to explode. I wonder if I just show up one day to a business, find an empty desk, and start working, if they'll decide it would be easier to just hire me, then try to figure out how you fire someone that was never officially working for you.
According to Ain't It Cool News, rumor is that Christian Bale got drunk at the premier party for Batman Begins and let slip that director Chris Nolan is wanting Sean Penn to play the role of the Joker in the sequel. I don't know about Sean Penn, I'm just excited that they're already talking about a sequel. I read somewhere else, that Chris Nolan signed on to do three, which would mean not only a sequel but a sequel to the sequel. I hope this is true, and I also hope that they pull a Lord of the Rings move and release a new one each year. Cause I want to see another Batman staring Christian Bale next year, so Chris Nolan, get to work.
Well due to the "success" of Live 8 (I guess it was a "success", all they wanted was to get their voice out and they sure did that), I've decide I'm going to throw my own concert series. I'm going to call it PreviouslyRecorded 9(because 9 is bigger than 8) and it's not going to be free. All the money raised will go towards JGDThinkTank's research team to determine how Gid, Super D and myself can make a living doing JGDThinkTank. Sure Live 8 brought Pink Floyd's original lineup back together, but PreviouslyRecorded 9 is going to bring back both the Talking Heads and Neutral Milk Hotel in their original lineups. So far here are the performers that have agreed to do it.
Talking Heads
Neutral Milk Hotel
James Brown
Al Green
Bloc Party
David Bowie
Drums and Tuba
Spoon
Lunch Break
JGDThinkTank the Band
and Mr. Jonny Pantz and Gid's Unnamed Band
Of course, that might just be what's playing in iTunes right now, it's hard to tell. Either way tickets will be $80 bucks, however these are special tickets. These tickets are only good for an hour, so if you want to be there the whole day, it's going to be 8 tickets, but the more tickets you buy the more you save. An 8 ticket pass will only run you $550, that's a $90 dollar savings!!! You can't beat that, and it's for a good cause. I'll put up all the info after we finalize everything. Lunch Break is being a little difficult, claiming that need to finish their album before they can commit.
